GRO Indexes
There are a series of indexes to Hemingway birth, marriages and deaths records in the GRO for England & Wales. The Hemingway Family of Yorkshire
This book was written by John Leonard Noades Hemingway and privately published by him in a number of versions with extremely small print runs, probably around 1920. I have transcribed the version that the LDS filmed and republished it (now in its third modern print run). This reprinted paperback version has 152 pages of A4 format and contains nine trees drawn by JLNH. There is a wealth of detailed extracts from Parish Registers, plus a very wide range of quoted material from many historical sources. Copies of this modern day reprint of the JLNH piece of work is available by secure webserver on the GENfair website under the Hemingway page.
