Hannah HEMINGWAY of Hensall  :  Died 1850

 

I Hannah Hemingway of the township of Hensall in the Parish of Snaith in the West Riding of the County of Yorkshire, Widow of the late William Hemingway, Wheelwright, Hensall, do make this my last Will and Testament revoking all former wills and codicils made by me.  I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the Clock, the Bookcase and all its contents, three bedsteads standing and all Beds, Bedding, Plate, Linen, carpets table covers, Books Fenders, Fire Irons, Brass Pans, Tins, Lead Bowles and Frames and all other requisite Parlour and House Stoves unless taken at a fair valuation and all the Household Furniture whatsoever except as hereinafter mentioned together with the Cow and valuation of the same and Manure and all belongings thereto and to pay all my funeral expenses except my coffin.  I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannah the Green bed standing in the small bedroom.  I also bequeath unto my grandson George Hemingway, Hannah Rymer's son, the Silver jug.  I also bequeath unto my son John the Desk standing in the Parlour, two Closets in the House, one Bedstead in the Parlour, one Stone Table, Oven and Range and Set Pot and Delph Case in the Kitchen and that he my said son John is to be at the expense of my coffin.  I also will and bequeath unto my son John Hemingway, Hannah Rymer, and Mary Hemingway my daughters an equal share of the same or part of the houses and land left to me by the late Mr John (? - faded) Hobson, late of Fishlake in the County of York and I do make my son John Hemingway my Sole Executor.
