On the
same day Master Lawrence Benson, Clerk, Dean of the Deanery of Ansty, by virtue
of a General Commission directed to him, certified himself to have granted
tuition of the person and portion of Thomas Hemingway, young son of Thomas
Hemingway, late of Heckmondwike in the diocese of York, deceased, to Toby Lee
and Richard Hemingway, they having been first sworn (saving etc).
And a
caution was administered.
