In the name of God Amen this xiiiith day of Febraurie 1588 I John Hemingway of Watterfriston within the county of Yorke, husbandman sick in bodie but of good and perfect remembrance Lawd & praise be to God do make this my last Will conteining herein and in manner and forme following

That is to say I commend my soule to Allmightie God my maker and Redeemer and my bodie to be buried within the parish yeard of Watterfriston aforesaid

Item I will that all such debts which I do owe of rights or of conscience to anie persons whatsoever be paid to every one/My funerall debtes paid and my funerall discharged I give unto Janet my wief fower oxen

Item I give to her one Reed gard ewe

Item I will that my eldiste Brother William Hemingway shall have three quarters and a windle of browne of barley which I had of him

I will that my Brother William shall have one browne oxe

Item I give Jenet my wieffe the whole interest and terme of yeares which I hold in my farmehold

Item I give to my Brother Peter Hemingway my wedding dablit my wedding cloake and my beste sworde

Item I will that my youngest sohne shall have iii quarters of Barley

The reste of my goodes and chattells unbeqethed I give unto Jenet my weif whome I make my sole Executrix of this my last will and Teatament
