In the name of God Amen, this fourteenth day of April Anno Domini one thousand six hundred and sixteen I Heugh Hemingway of Smeaton Parva in the parish of ---------, sick in bodie but of whole mynd and of good and perfect remembrance, thanks be to Almighty God do ordain and make this my last Will & Testament in maner and forme followinge

Ffirst I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of  --------

Item I give and bequeath to Anthony Hemingway my sonne one cowe and one lambe

Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Hemingway my sonne one cowe and one -----

Item I give and bequeath to Sibell Milo(?), wife of William Milo(?), my daughter one ---- and one hogg

Item I give and bequeath to the aforesaid Anthony and Thomas all of my land betwixt them after the decease of my wife.

The rest of my goods, my debts payd and my legacies discharged I give to them

Item My wife --- I do make my Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
