Last Will &
Testament of John Hemmingsley of New Street, Darlaston, Staffordshire 1829
This is the
last Will & Testament of John Hemmingsley of New Street, in Darlaston in
the county of Stafford, Settmaker and Screwmaker. First I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral and
Testamentary expenses be fully paid and satisfied and discharged by my Executrix
hereinafter named and after payment thereof I give and devise unto my loving
wife Milcah all and every my messuages, tenements and dwelling houses,
Buildings, lands and hereditaments and real estate whatsoever and wheresoever
with their appurtenances to hold the same unto my said wife her heirs and
assigns for ever. Also I give and
bequeath all my household goods and furniture, shop tools, stock in trade book
and other debts and all other of my personal estate and effects of every
description unto my said wife for her own use and benefit and I do hereby
nominate and appoint my said wife and my son John Hemmingsley joint Executrix
and Executors of this my Will and hereby revoking and making void all former
and other will and wills by me made. I do declare this to be my only true and
last Will & Testament. In witness whereof I the said Testator John
Hemmingsley have hereto set my hand and seal the twelfth day of January in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.
