Whitley of Shibden Hall in Southowram
in the countie of Yorke,
widow, doe make this my last will & testament in manner and forme followinge , ffirst and principally I commend and comitt
my Soule into the handes of Almighty God in full
assurance of his mercy in the pardon and forgiveness of all my sins & life Eternall through Jesus Christ and my body I comitt to the earth from whence it came.
And as for the disposition of such goodes, chattels, cattell,
credits and debts as Almighty God hath of bounteous liberality given me, I doe
hereby publish and declare my full will and minde in
that behalfe as followeth
It is my will and minde
that all my such debts as I shall happene to owe to
any person, or persons of right and conscience att
the time of my decease shall be truly discharged and paid by me executor
hereafter named and that my funeral expenses be deducted out of my whole goods
and after my debts and funeral expenses deducted I give as followeth
